SAN DIEGO — Navistar touted what it called its most fuel efficient Class 8 truck specification at the American Trucking Associations Management Conference and Exhibition here Sunday.

The company’s ProStar model, equipped with an Eaton-Cummins “SmartAdvantage” powertrain is the most fuel efficient Class 8 spec, according to Vice President and General Manager, Heavy-duty Truck Product Line Jodi Presswood.  “Every percent of fuel economy improvement helps our customers and spec’ing a vehicle properly can make all the difference,” he said.
