Werner Enterprises, in an update on the progress of its campaign to hire veterans, announced it has employed more than 5,100 veterans in the past three years, surpassing the pledge it made in 2012 under the White House campaign Joining Forces when Werner pledged to hire 1,000 veterans a year for the next five years.
